Mineral makeups was developed for skin types that were highly sensitive to traditional makeup, rosacea skin types as well as post cosmetic surgery patients. it is the most popular cosmetic base in the world right now.. Well my friend asked me about "mineral makeups" so I came up with this..
Why Minerals?? It consists of pure micronized Zinc & titanium dioxide.. These two minerals are the most powerful sunblocks available today..Its free of talc, mica, fragrance, wax, oil and perfumes as well as chemicals.. You will not and cannot be sensitive or allergic to mineral makeups.. Take a look at some of very natural looking, non shiny loose mineral bases as well as the pressed mineral blush, brushes and sponge applicators. Mineral bases & products are for all / any skin types, particularly Rosacea, Acne & Sensitive. These cosmetics are actually "good" for your skin and overall health. You no longer have to layer Sun Block, Concealer, Foundation and powder! Save time, save money and save your skin..
Mineral Makeups combines the most up-to-date "light as air" mineral technology and colors with skin-care benefits that conventional make ups can only envy: # Non-comedogenic, will not block pores. Free of oils, silicones and waxes. # No allergy risk. Minerals are inert with no activity # SPF 20- Broad-spectrum UVB, UVA & URA protection # Anti-inflammatory, helps to calm and soothe irritated skin # Very water resistant rating by an approved FDA lab # Complete, flawless coverage for skin conditions like acne, rosacea and redness following treatments like chemical peels and laser resurfacing # Contains no fillers like talc , rice powders, flours # Composed of inert minerals that cannot support bacteria # Environmentally aware and not tested on animals
Now is mineral make up good for the skin???
Mineral makeup, as previously pointed out, does not contain some harmful ingredients, which is especially good for people with acne and sensitive skin. But the benefits do not end there. Mineral makeup contains ingredients that can help to protect the skin, for example, by providing protection from sun in a more natural manner Mineral makeup is, generally speaking, non-comedogenic. Because it does not obstruct the skin, it is good for people with oily skin and acne. There are many companies making mineral makeup and some of them say that not all minerals are good for your skin.
Coverage and colors
The main function of any makeup is to make us look good. Does mineral makeup do this? It is advertised as a type of makeup good for people with fine lines and wrinkles because it reflects the light. The minerals also provide long-lasting coverage and a lightweight feel. Many of the mineral makeup lines have an extensive range of colors and you can also customize some of them. Many of largest mineral makeup lines offer a big palette to choose from...
Is it better than regular makeup?
In reality, there are a lot of really bad makeup products out there in the market. Personally I hate products with mineral oil, excess amounts of cheap artificial fragrances and fillers such as talc. But there is also good quality makeup and it does need to be expensive. You have to read the ingredients and understand a little bit about each one of them to figure out if it is the right makeup for you.
There are also other mineral makeup companies that claim to be better than the others, objecting sometimes to ingredients such as bismuth oxychloride. You have to always read the ingredient list. Just because it says “mineral” and “pure”, it does mean they are all the same. Certainly, if you dislike the fragrance, check the ingredient list.
Mineral makeup offers a choice from the traditional makeup and it can be very good for women who like to wear a light natural looking makeup. It is a matter of choice and worth trying it...
Before you buy any Mineral Cosmetic, be absolutely sure that the product is free of: Perfumes, waxes, oils, mica, talc, corn starch, fillers. etc. It should be made primarily of Zinc, and Titanium. These 2 ingredients should be at the top of the list. If there is no zinc, it is not going to help your skin with Rosacea and Sensitivity, and redness. No fillers should be in the Foundation Base, Blush, Eye Shadows like flours, talcs, rice powders, corn starch etc. If there are fillers in these 3 main products, you are not getting Mineral Make-up, and you will not be getting the amazing benefits that mineral makeup has to offer you.
Now heres the thing: what are brands of these mineral makeups.. Well before i enumerate some of the minerals i knew the company must credit me for advertising their product... hehehe!!! so to speak heres the lists:
